Rummy formats, sequences and settlement
Rummy is a card-matching game. The objective is to form valid sets and sequences from the dealt hand. The Ind Slots companion lists the source profiles for the apps that publish each format.
Points rummy
One deal. Players pay an entry fee based on the point value. The player with the lowest score at the end pays the rest a fee per point. Entry starts at ₹8 in the public snapshot. Conversion is 1 point = ₹0.1.
Deals rummy
A fixed number of deals (commonly two or three). Chips move between players by the published table. Entry starts at ₹5 in the public snapshot.
Pool rummy
Players are eliminated when their cumulative score crosses a published threshold. The last player standing wins the pool.
Stake and settlement
Stake is the published entry fee. Settlement follows the published table once a hand, deal or pool completes. Disputes go through the partner's grievance channel.
Limitations
Rummy is 18+ in permitted jurisdictions. The Ind Slots companion does not host any rummy server itself; it lists source profiles only.
Valid sets and sequences
A valid set is three or four cards of the same rank in different suits. A valid sequence is three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. At least one pure sequence (no joker) is required for a declaration to count.
Joker rules
The printed joker substitutes for any card. A wild joker is drawn at the start of each deal and substitutes for the card of the same rank in any suit. A set using the wild joker counts as a valid set.
Declaration
A valid declaration uses all dealt cards. The first player to declare wins the hand; other players' ungrouped cards score against them at the published per-card rate.
Drop option
Some formats allow a first-drop or middle-drop option with a fixed penalty. The penalty is lower than a full-show penalty and is a useful tactical lever when the hand is poor.
